PACKING 

All of our authentic native products are safe and good to eat only because of its unique ingredients and the traditional cooking formula and method which is followed. Packing the products in the best possible way is our topmost priority.

We use recommended and healthy packaging materials to pack the products in order to ensure that you get it in the best consumable condition. A dense plastic box that is unbreakable, or a PP cover which is more than 50Microns, a tough carton sleeve, a 3ply shipper carton and bubble sheets to cover the empty space, is what we use. These materials are carefully selected and are made sure that they are as per the guidelines of the food regulatory authorities of Tamil Nadu.

We know that the packing has to be safe and secure and hence our packaging team follows a process and double checks the package before it leaves for delivery.

SHIPPING POLICY

  • We at Pettikadai, know how important it is to receive your purchased products in the finest condition, on time, every time. So we use a large network of couriers, to deliver your products to you, as early as possible.
  • To ensure that your order reaches you in the fastest time and in good condition, we only ship through reputed courier agencies.
  • While we shall endeavour to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product characteristics, or availability.
  • We currently deliver to more than 1000 cities across India.
  • We ship on all week days (Monday to Saturday), excluding public holidays.
  • Free shipping for all domestic orders for ALL Sweets, Savouries and Bakery products - no minimum purchase value.
  • If you believe that the product is not in good condition, or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the goods, please refuse to take delivery of the package, and call our Customer Care, mentioning your order reference number. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.
  • We ship most items within 24-48 working hours of the order. However in some cases, we may take longer, up to 3 working days, to ship the order as we may have to procure it from some other stores or our suppliers. In the unlikely event that we are not able to ship your order completely within 7 working days of the order, we shall cancel the remaining unshipped part of the order, and send you an email informing you about the same. In such cases, your payment against the unshipped part of the order shall be refunded, in the manner you have made the payment.

The products are delivered only on business days. The timings mention above are applicable only for metro cities one. Remote areas may take one day extra.

 

SHIPMENT TRACKING

You will get an email in your registered mail box for every successful order in Pettikadai and you will be notified with tracking number once the order is shipped through courier. You can track the status of your order delivery in the courier’s website or through local contact of the mentioned courier company. This is applicable for other states only.

For shipments within Tamil Nadu, you will be notified of undue delay, if any. You can always call our support team to check the status of your order.

International Shipping Policy:

All international orders (outside India) would be processed within 2 days and shipped through DHL.

Most orders are delivered within 7 business days to foreign destinations after we ship.

Once the products are shipped from our location, the airway bill number will be sent to the customer by email.

In case if there are any customs clearance charges applicable, it is the responsibility of customer to pay and clear the consignment, Pettikadai and DHL can assist the customer in the clearance process. The shipping rate will be displayed during checkout before you submit payment.

Orders shipped internationally are not eligible for free returns or return shipping.

We reserve the right to release information to local, state, central or international law enforcement officials when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or when required to, by order of a Court or authorized administrative agency.
